Who Put Society in Charge, and Why Are We Still Listening?

Let’s talk about rules. Not the good ones like don’t run with scissors or maybe don’t summon spirits you aren’t ready for, but the bullshit ones—like who decided we all needed to follow some soul-draining version of “success” to be considered worthy?

Who elected society as the boss?

Because if I remember correctly, I don’t recall casting that vote.

Why Does ‘Job’ Feel Like a Dirty Word?

Have you ever noticed how the word job just has the worst vibration? Like, say it out loud. It practically drains the life out of the room the moment it forms in your mouth. It’s not just a word—it’s a spell, and not the good kind.

I’ve felt some seriously dark energy in my time, and I swear, the collective dread humanity has around the word job might be some of the lowest vibrations I’ve ever encountered.

Why? Because for so many people, a job is just a box they’ve been forced into. It’s not about passion. It’s not about purpose. It’s about survival—because society designed it that way.

If It Feels Like a ‘Job,’ It’s NOT Your Purpose

Here’s the thing: if what you do to earn money feels like a job—if it drains you, if you count the hours until you can escape, if it leaves you feeling like a hollowed-out version of yourself—hate to break it to you, but you are NOT living your purpose.

Not even close.

Your soul purpose isn’t supposed to feel like something you need a countdown clock for. It’s not supposed to feel like something you have to endure.

Your purpose is the thing that swallows you whole in the best way possible. You get so deep into it that you forget time exists (which time is a manmade concept anyway, but that's another post all its own). You don’t even notice the world around you because you’re too busy being alive in it.

Why Society Wants You to Forget Your Purpose

You think it’s an accident that society keeps shoving the 9-to-5, work-until-you-die, retire-maybe-if-you’re-lucky blueprint down our throats?

It’s by design.

Because the moment you wake up to the real reason you’re here to be—the moment you stop living for them and start living for yourself—you become uncontrollable.

And society? It hates people it can’t control.

So, it dangles this fake-ass “stability” carrot in front of you and whispers, “Be grateful you have a job.”

Meanwhile, your soul is screaming, “I was meant for more than this!”

And you know what? It’s right.

It’s Time to Break the Spell

So, if you’re out here trying to convince yourself that your soul-sucking job is just “what being an adult is,” let me stop you right there. That’s the conditioning talking.

The real you? The soul-level you? That version of you is still waiting. Still hoping you’ll remember.

It’s time to wake up. It’s time to take back your life.

Because society never had the right to take it in the first place.

🔥 Now go be the boss of your own damn existence. 🔥
